HOW YOU CAN HELP THE RESISTOL RELIEF FUND
The Resistol Relief Fund and Resistol Relief Resources are 501 (c)(3) charities pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code of the United States. Contributions are limited to the maximum permitted by law. Resistol has been a partner to the Professional Bull Riders since the PBR's 1992 inception. In 1999, the Resistol Relief Fund was created when Resistol pledged over $1 million dollars over ten years to start the non-profit organization. The Resistol Relief Fund benefits anyone involved in the sport of bull riding and at all levels. The Resistol Relief Fund is available to high school, college and professional bull riders as well as those people who work in the sport of bull riding.
The Resistol Relief Fund started granting assistance to those injured in bull riding in 2000. We have distributed over $1,000,000 to bull riders of all ages, to their families, and to personnel involved in the sport of bull riding.
Resistol has committed $1 million dollars over 10 years for the fund. Additional money comes from RRF fund-raisers, donations, and Resistol Relief Fund contributors.
Any athlete or other person involved in the sport of bull riding who is injured may submit an application for assistance from the Resistol Relief Fund to the fund administrator. The Board of Directors reviews each applicant's request for assistance and determines to whom and in what amount of assistance is available. These decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Board and not all requests are able to be funded.
To succeed by continually offering support to injured athletes and personnel, we need your tax-deductible donation today. As a non-profit charity, the Resistol Relief Fund will do more than give you a tax deduction. It will continue to provide your fallen heroes with a lifeline for financial support.

The Resistol Relief Fund was there when no one else was. When a guy is down and out and on his last leg, they're there for you. Bull riders don't make the kind of money that professional football or baseball players do. I don't know what I would have done without the fund.

When you are talking about the most dangerous sport in the world and the injuries that go with it, from nagging to catastrophic the Resistol Relief Fund is essential not only to the riders but their families.

The Resistol Relief Fund is an essential element of the sport of bull riding. The PBR is proud to have initialized this programwith Resistol, which will be so important and influential for the sport of bull riding through the new millennium. I urge everyone to support the bull riders, who risk their lives every time they get on one of these animals, by supporting the Resistol Relief Fund. Randy Bernard

I would personally like to thank the Relief Fund Board for the assistance and everything else they do for the bull riding family. Without the Fund, a lot of people's dreams would not come true. Again, I really appreciate it. Ryan Pettyjohn
